I’m Lynne, a very ordinary Australian who happens to be living a rather extra-ordinary life in the Philippines jungle among the beautiful Banwaon people.
Join me as I reflect on the journey.

Children’s Books
I never planned to write a children’s book.
Mind you, with our four lively offspring and their somewhat unusual life in the Jolly Jungle, there are no shortage of stories!
Then late 2022 something beautiful happened.
My energetic boy, who kept me on my toes from the moment he was born, and who is now a grown-up man, had his own little boy.
Our first grandchild.
And suddenly, I wanted to be sure this little person would know all the stories about his daddy and his aunties and uncle.
They’d had such a wonderful childhood.
I can only pray the same for our grandson.
Book #1 - Flash the Teeny Tiny Turtle, first in the Jolly Jungle Kids Adventure series, is all about Stevie, his Banwaon friend, Pikpik, and a funny little turtle named “Flash”.
Book #2 has arrived!
Daddy! There’s a CROCODILE outside! tells the tale of Kisi and her Australian friend, Sara.
Initial feedback has been fabulous, with readers loving the humor and learning about jungle critters.
My harshest critics (my grandson and grand-nephew) gave the ulimate thumbs up by requesting re-reads of the story.
